Year 1 children have been learning about houses and homes in their geography lessons this term. They have especially enjoyed describing their homes and learning about houses in other countries. They have worked very hard on fantastic artwork based on igloos and mud huts.

Victorian Day

Year One had a fantastic day re-enacting a school day in the Victorian times. The children really enjoyed the fitness drills, formal handwriting session, decorating a Victorian sponge cake and making a Jack in the Box. They looked amazing in their outfits!
