Stuart class were very lucky to have a very talented parent come in to help us write our name on papyrus in hieroglyphics. Everyone had a fantastic time.

Celts and Romans have been learning all about "Ourselves". We have been looking at the similarities and differences between us all. The children then studied their own faces in a mirror and created their own images on paper plates. See if you can spot anyone!
Mrs Redvers came to school to talk about her experiences working and travelling in Africa. We were introduced to the many countries of Africa. We discussed the culture and clothes and even managed to try some clothing on. Thank you Mrs Redvers!
We are taking inspiration from African animals and patterns in our art work this term. It is lots of fun!
What a fantastic day we had exploring Whipsnade Zoo. Like curious, adventurous animal spotters we hunted for African animals and we were not disappointed! Below are some photographs of our day but keep checking back to see some of our lovely work based on Africa.
Year 4 watched active volcanoes come to life with the magic of Virtual Reality.
This was kindly funded by the Parent's Group. The children had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
The pyramids of Egypt came to life as Year 3 were treated to a virtual tour courtesy of the Parent's Group. The children had a fantastic time learning about Ancient Egypt.

All books are 20p - come and buy some pre-loved books. After school they will be on the front playground with an honesty box. Children will also have opportunities during the last days of term to come and choose during the school day.
Year 3 designed and built their own boats in pairs as part of a DT and Scientific Enquiry project.
The boats had to float for at least a minute and hold a minimum of 10 x 1p coins.
After a number of heats and sinkings the eventual winners were Ruby and Miriam from Tudors.
