Potential Academy Conversion
Clewer Green C of E First School (CGFS) is a successful first school, well supported by its families, and underpinned by a strong Church of England ethos. From its founding in 1806, the school has been at the heart of the local community. The school has also always sought to improve and look to the future – such as the two major building projects in the last decade that have improved our accommodation. We explored academy status in 2016 in partnership with two other local C of E first schools, and have continued to consider whether it would be the right ‘next step’ since. The CGFS Governing Board is now consulting about whether the school should become an academy within Windsor Learning Partnership (WLP).
Please find below the consultation document and a Question and Answer document with more information.
The consultation runs until Friday 25th October 2019 – please have your say by:
- Completing the online questionnaire available here https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/5XR6R2W or the word version of the document available below;
- Attending the meeting for parents at 7pm on Wednesday 16th October 2019 at CGFS.
